SPECIFIC QUESTION TYPES

Nearly all Reading Comprehension questions fall into 11 distinct types:

Macro Questions - cover general issues (macro is Greek for "large" or "big picture")

2. Purpose of the passage
3. Tone
4. Organization of the passage
5. Category of Writing (Advanced)
6. Identity of the author (Advanced)

Micro Questions - refer to specific elements of the essay
7. Detail of the passage
8. Definition of a term or phrase
