I would like to know about the deadline of the Old GRE

In 800score website a notice is posted like this :

"Starting in August 2011, the new GRE will become optional and it will them become mandatory three months later in November. If you want to take the "old" GRE, make sure to do so by October, 2011. 800score will be introducing its GRE prep course for the new GRE in July 2011. All 800score GRE course students get one-years access and access to the new GRE course."

The notice clearly indicates that the old GRE will be valid till October, 2011. The problem is there's no news published in ets website in this regard. All I have found in the ets website is the old GRE will become obsolete from the August, 2011.
So what's the real deadline for old GRE ? Which site should I trust ? ets.org or 800score.com ?
Any reliable answer will be much appreciated.

some locations may offer the GRE up to October. (mostly Asia)
