Harvard Business School has an average GMAT score of 730. It is the oldest business school in the United States and one of the world’s most prestigious.

The admissions rate is 9.4%, making it a highly competitive school (but not that low compared with Stanford or Wharton). It’s not uncommon to be turned down by Wharton and Stanford, but accepted to Harvard (don’t feel bad, nothing beats having Harvard on your resume).

Nevertheless, get that sky-high GMAT score and perfectly polished personal statement ready by the Jan. 4 deadline. The drop out rate is very low at just 2.6%, proving that the hardest part is getting in.

We’re not listing Harvard Business School’s average starting salary because that would just be obnoxious.
